This is dedicated to our Angel Baby Gavin Dewayne Fifield. He was born to special parents Jeremy Fifield and Amber Evans. He has 2 big brothers Dylan and Adam Fifield. We were told Gavin had Skeletal Displasia but little did we know that is was one of the rarest forms of SD...so rare that there is only 12 known cases in the world, they call it Opsismodysplasia. So in Gavins case his ribs were fused together constricting his lungs. This meant that everytime Gavin breathed he couldnt get a full breath to release the carbon dioxide that we breathe out...out of his lungs therefore his body would retain the carbon dioxide which in turn took his little life. He was only with us for 79 days but he filled us with so much happiness and joy. He is so special that I truly believe he is an Angel because God doesnt take children...only Angels. Gavin did get to go home twice only to be rushed back to the hospital after just a few days. His tiny little body held strong so that when everyone arrived the weekend before he passed to hold him love him and kiss him, he stayed awake for over 3 hours and just took in everyone that held him. He had never stayed awake that long before. And right after that is when he started to stay asleep longer and would barely wake up during a diaper changing. When Gavin passed he was in his Mommys arms and his Daddy was holding him and his Mommy. Gavin was born into a world he couldnt survive in but for the short time he was here he recieved so much love (and hugs and kisses) and also returned that love with smiles and having his big blue eyes
look back at you with such innocense and strength. Rest In Peace my sweet Angel Baby Gavin...we will always keep you close in our hearts and we will miss you dearly until we meet again..in heaven.

You have this little Brother,
He loves you very much,
But you’ll never get to see him,
Or feel his gentle touch.
He had to go away you see,
Through God’s garden gates.

An angel opened the Book of Life and wrote down my baby's birth. Then she whispered as she closed the book, "Too beautiful for Earth"
